In real estate, you meet people who change your point of view on business and investing.
Andrew Abernathey is one of those guys.
Andrew is an entrepreneur, farm owner, and real estate investor who used The Warren Buffett model to build Abernathy Holdings, a holding company focused on Class A self-storage.
Here’s a little more about him from his website.
I am the founder and CEO of Abernathey Holdings (AH), a leading real estate holding company driven by a passion for business and inspired by the value investing approach of Warren Buffett.
I co-founded Abernathey Brothers Farm, an agricultural enterprise spanning multiple locations in Lansford and Bottineau, North Dakota.
Established in August 2012, AH initially pursued a diverse investment strategy. However, in 2019, we strategically shifted our focus to developing and owning class-A self-storage facilities across the sunbelt region, while also owning the operating companies to ensure vertical integration.
This conversation is worth a listen if you want to elevate your business and investing IQ. He took me to school in this interview.
